He has experienced in being a radio reporter in various local radio stations, a research assistant at Cambodia Development Resource Institute (CDRI) and a communication officer at Transparency International Cambodia (TI Cambodia). He graduated with a Bachelor Degree of Arts in Communication and Media Management from Royal University of Phnom Penh in 2016.

Lay Kimchou is a digital marketer at The Idea Consultancy, and she is also a senior student major in Bachelor of English at Institute of Foreign Languages. As a digital marketer, she is really interested in learning new technology. Cambodia ICT Camp will enable her to get to know what technology the world is now using from global facilitators sharing their knowledge in ICT. She considers herself to be hardworking and patient, with a passion for learning and broadening her skills in technology. Moreover, she has good communication skills. Reaksmey used to be one of volunteers for Mekong ICT Camp 2017 in Siem Reap, Cambodia. He worked closely with several speakers, making sure the participants could get the most from each session. Having been with Open Development Cambodia for one year as a Research and Partnership officer, Vin has involved in managing, coordinating, and facilitating projects/programs, workshops/training, as well as volunteer program for ODC. Taking part with the upcoming Cambodia ICT Camp, Vin is in charge of working with volunteers to support Camp’s activities as well as playing role as a master of ceremony (MC) during the Camp. Adding to her experience in coordinating the implementation process of the seed grant innovation funds from the Mekong ICT Camp 2017, this year she will support the facilitation of the Cambodia ICT Innovation Funds and its process of implementation.

Júlia is currently a Research Fellow at Open Development Cambodia (ODC), where she works on different socioeconomic development projects. Being a participant of Mekong ICT Camp 2017 in Cambodia, SAM AN Mardy, this year, is one of the Cambodia ICT Camp’s facilitators. He is a Web Development Assistant for Open Development Cambodia (ODC).

Somphop Krittayaworagul (a.k.a SK) works at an International NGO as a Regional IT Manager for Asia Pacific Region. He is a core organizer of the Mekong ICT Camp since 2008. Klaikong Vaidhyakarn has M.A. in Information Science, he is the Director of Social Technology Institute (Social Tech) and the Party Registrar of Future Forward Party. He has worked on information technology and digital media for more than 20 years. Klaikong has organized many technology camps for young people. In 2006, he started the Mekong ICT Camp Project. He has pioneered the focus on open data in Thailand, as a vehicle for unlocking many social problems through genuine open government information. SocialTech provides space for new generations to work in social technology, and Klaikong has mentored many Thai technology social entrepreneurs. In the past five years, SocialTech has been supporting government efforts to make public data more transparent.

BE Chantra is the lead organizer of BarCamp in Cambodia, an international, innovative, and open technology conference. He is in charge of overall event planning, funding and coordination of all activities, ensuring the events run smoothly and meet expected outcomes. He has also organized and participated in many local events and workshops such as the Blogger Summit, Startup Weekend Cambodia, TechCamp Phnom Penh, Clogger Corner, Personal IT workshop, Mekong ICT Camp, youth camps, and regional Bar Camps. His goal has been to promote the effective use of technology tools for individual organizations and businesses. He has worked on the organization of private events and campaigns requiring social mobilization. Besides event management, he is also an online content, social media and marketing specialist. Chantra was elected chair of ODC’s governing board in October 2013.

Puangchomphu Rammuang (Chomphu) has been working with Thai Fund Foundation (TFF) since 2003 as a Resource Mobilization Manager. She was successful on mobilized resources to TFF which granting to small NGOs in grassroots level around Thailand on these following areas: (1) Environmental and Health and (2) Human Right and Democracy.
She has experiences both in private and non-profit sector. Before working with TFF, she was the manager at a Social Enterprise, Shelter Co., Ltd., which aims to earn income to Habour House Foundation which operated the programs to save the girls those who at risk to sex trade.
Puangchomphu becomes Mekong ICT Camp project manager since 2008. She also leads many projects such as NGOs Capacity Building which provide training courses for NGO on Resource Mobilisation and Communication, “Community Award for Forest Rehabilitation and Conservation” that working with Siam Commercial Bank more than ten years.

Thy Try is the Executive Director/Editor-in-Chief of Open Development Cambodia (ODC). For the last ten years he has been promoting open data, a stronger open data community and open contracting to improve transparency and accountability for sustainable development in Cambodia and the wider Mekong region.
As Executive Director/Editor-in-Chief, Try plays an important role in increasing public access to current and historical data and information about Cambodia’s development trends. The primary avenue is ODC’s online open data platform, compiling freely-available data from a wide range of public sources.
In 2015, he joined the Mekong ICT Camp in Thailand as a participant and then in 2017 his organization had the great opportunity to host the Mekong ICT Camp 2017 outside of Thailand. Following its successful organization of this event, ODC was encouraged by committee members of the Mekong ICT Camp and the open data community to host the first Cambodian ICT Camp in 2018. Try also plays a key role in the fundraising campaign for the camp.
Try has a legal background and been involving with many research projects including the situation around cyber law and freedom of the internet in Cambodia since 2013. He is a member of the advisory committee of the Global Center for Mekong Studies (GCMS) Cambodia.
