Official Site Event

Introduction

The official Side Event on “Child Online Project” will be an impactful and highly engaging workshop centered on improving online safety for children and young people in Cambodia. All stakeholders in a child and young person’s life are invited to join as the event is designed to deliver something useful for everyone. Hosted by the leading organization ODC, the event will include presentations from ChildFund, Fujitsu and EDDS. Their presentations will serve as a vital platform to discuss and strategize measures to empower families and protect young people and children from digital risks. The program will kick off with welcoming remarks and leading organizations in the online safety space will share their knowledge, insights and research results on online safety.

Participants will engage in various interactive formats, designed to enhance their learning experiences and develop practical skills across detecting, preventing and learning about online risks and safety. Some of these activities include reverse role-playing designed to simulate online safety decision-making and experimental design sessions aimed to raise awareness and build knowledge among the stakeholders.
